this couple was just plain wonderful. perfect. i was so nervous. they were my first engagement session. but they were so amiable it was easy to relax a bit. i really enjoyed following them around while trying to capture the love they have for each other. we hung out downtown, which has always intimidated me, but we walked up and down it which was so fun.

i am having a hard time choosing what to put up here. they were so good that i could fill this blog with photos of them. there are so many. so many good ones. well, here's to being indecisive. i am hoping this will be my first of two posts of them. cause there's that much i want to put up here.

she has such gorgeous eyes, no picture does them justice.


i know you can't read it on these photos, but stenciled on the door behind them it reads, "NO STANDING IN FRONT OF DOOR". so we did.


and who doesn't love fun props? especially old-looking bikes.


this is my husband's favorite. i had him help me choose between this and 4 others. cause i'm indecisive that way.




this one is supposed to be somewhat vintage-y looking. softer. less color.

but i might like it better in black and white.


and this still isn't even a small portion of what i want to put up here. h&b, good luck deciding what YOU want. maybe it will be easier for you!

i felt so bad after this family's first session. nothing seemed to happen the way we had wanted it to. so, we tried again.

aaron and lezlie's family

this family is so wonderful. the mom is always so positive. and she finds the most fun things to do with her two beautiful girls. these girls are so sweet.

i just LOVE this photo. this is how happy this darling girl is whenever i see her.



this adorable daughter is such a cuddle bug. and just as happy as her little sister.

the j&j family

wow, i am definitely falling behind. i went with this cute family to shelby farms yesterday. it was so fun being with them. the mom is so fun, and her laugh is contagious. and you can tell just how much their daughter loves her mom and dad.












and you can tell that she LOVES her little sister.

well, yesterday had been BEAUTIFUL. finally. but wouldn't you know that right when we went to take photos some dark clouds covered the sun right up. but, i had fun taking their photos under cloud cover. they were such good sports. they have so much energy and such fun personalities. and we LOVE this family.



and you can tell that they love each other.

the a&t family

this family was so fun to be with. and the kids are so, so cute.
the mom is a wonderful teacher and amazingly productive person. i don't know where she finds the time and energy to do the things she does. my kids were able to have her as a teacher for science camp this summer and they had a blast.

j&k family

i had the pleasure of taking pictures of a family in my ward. they have two cute daughters who i got to run around with. i raced around with them, and played a bit of hide-and-seek. it was fun. but i won't say i wasn't a little tired afterward.






she told me these were her favorite shoes, but they didn't really fit anymore. so we took pictures of her sitting with them on. she has such beautiful eyes.
