freckles

it's beginning to look a lot like summer!!!

 bring on the freckles!

i LOVE freckles, and i love it that all of my kids have them. even monkey has a few now. but my kids were doomed. maybe i should say "destined" instead. destined to have freckles. having two parents with copious amounts of freckles, they had no way around it. blue eyes and freckles. they'll learn to love them. i always did. (right mom?)

i figured that since i don't have any photos of myself up here, i might as well post one from rapunzel's school assignment today. why? i don't know. it's late/early and i don't think i am thinking straight. or thinking at all. i may regret this in the morning...

announcements

i am posting these "just because". i designed the first two announcements with the mom's of these two cuties i photographed recently.


but it was also fun making these. the next announcements are from a friend's baby who doesn't live nearby anymore, my daughter,

and my niece who also doesn't live close. so we made these together via email.

it is so fun to create something and see it in print. these are all 4x6 and i think we all printed them at costco.

again, just a few from the session. why does this keep happening to me? why do i keep getting these awesome people letting me take their photos and making it so, so, so hard for me to choose. why? can't i just have some awful clients? just once? so i wouldn't have such a tough time deciding?

no, not really. i really do love everyone i have taken photos for. so much. i really have been blessed that way. they have all made it easy on me. and i am so grateful to ALL of them. but when it comes to choosing just a few photos to put up here, it is so hard.

this beautiful family took me to the botanical gardens. i was excited. in the almost 4 years i have lived here, i have never, not once, been to the botanical gardens. strange and hard to believe, right? well, i haven't. so i was so happy to get to go there with them. and it was so beautiful. we only went to a small portion of the gardens and i was amazed.


the photo of mr. brennon is so cute big. his tongue is sticking out just a little. like he is trying really hard to reach those blossoms.






i was told miss jayden is an expert climber. i have known this sweet girl for almost 3 years now. and she just gets sweeter and more beautiful every time i see her.


i love her face! she is just adorable. cute. darling. sweet.






50 cute toes. and i love miss jayden's girly bend in her leg. even feet can show personality.


in posting this i realize i don't have much of the gorgeous mom. i need to fix that.

sneaky

this is just a tiny sneak peak of the session i did of this darling girl's family.



the botanical gardens were blooming with cherry blossoms the day we were there. so beautiful. i only wish the blossoms lasted longer. cause i'd love to go back and see them again.
